Doctorate conferred on Peetham’s CEO

Guruseva Dhurina Padmasri V R Gowrishankar has been honoured with a doctorate (Doctor of Letters) by the Shimoga-based Kuvempu University in Karnataka. The University has honoured Sri Gowrishankar for his immense achievements in the field of social work. Sri Gowrishankar received the doctorate from the Karnataka Governor Sri H R Bharadwarj at the Kuvempu University Campus on March 14th 2010. Union Minister of state for Human Resource Development, D Purandeshwari was also present on the occasion.
