98th Aradhana celebrations of Jagadguru Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamiji


 

The 98th Aradhana of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamiji, who adorned the Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham as the 33rd Acharya in the unbroken lineage of masters; was celebrated at Sringeri with great devotional fervour. The Jagadguru performed special puja at the Adhishthanam of the Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamiji at Narasimhavanam in Sringeri which commenced at12:30 P.M. The puja and other ceremonies concluded at around 3:00 P.M. The Jagadguru performed pujas to His Parameshthi guru to the accompaniment of Vedic chanting by the Pundits of the Math and students of the Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala which was established by the Mahaswamiji in 1898 A.D. All devotees who had gathered to witness the puja and have darshan were given prasadam at the end of the puja.

Later that night, after the Chandramouleeshwara Puja, the Jagadguru performed puja to Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamiji at the Adhishthanam which was accompanied by chanting of Krama-patha of selected Vedic passages. The night puja concluded at around 10:00 P.M. All those who had assembled to have darshan were offered prasadam.
