Sri Mahasannidhanam’s Aradhana Celebrations


 


His Holiness performing pooja at the Adhishtanam of Sri Maha Sannadhanam

The 21st Aradhana of the 35th Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Peetham, Brahmibhuta Jagadguru Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji was celebrated in Sringeri for 3 days from 29th September to 1st October, this year.

The entire Adhishthanam complex at Narasimhavanam was beautifully decorated with flowers. On all three days, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji offered special Aradhana Puja at His Guru’s Adhisthanam at noon. On Sep 30th September and 1st October, the Jagadguru distributed Gandha (Chandana) and Tirtha to the assembled devotees at around 3 pm. The Jagadguru also offered worship to His Guru after the daily Chandramoulishwara Puja at night. The night Puja included Rudra Krama Archana followed by Ashtavadana Seva.

The Aradhana was observed throughout India at the various branches of the Peetham in worshipful remembrance of the crest-jewel of Yogis, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji.
