Kumbhabhisheka of Sri Adi Shankaracharya Temple


 

In accordance with the sankalpa of the Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, construction of a grand new temple for Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya began a few years back. Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji will install the murti of Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya and perform Kumbhabhisheka at the newly constructed beautiful temple complex at Sringeri on the 16th of February 2011.

The new temple is a grand complex with ornate facades, pillars, stuccos and causeways constructed in the traditional  style of temple architecture.

Various programmes and functions shall be conducted in view of this grand event. Published below is the invitation to all devotees of the Peetham which also contains relevant information of this grand event.
