Ganeshotsava 2012 at Mumbai Sringeri Math


 

With the Benign Blessings of Jagadguru, Ganeshotsava was celebrated from 19th Septmeber to 23rd September 2012 (5 days).  On 19th September 2012 – Ganesh Chaturthi day –  special abhishekam – 108 aavartis of Atharvasheersha Abhishekam –  was performed for Moolavar and Utsava moorthis of Sri Mahaganapathy.  From 19th to 23rd September 2012 Sangeetha Sevas and Bhajan were offered in the evenings  to Sri Mahaganapathy.  On Sunday, 23rd September 2012 special pooja was performed for the Ganesh idol installed for the Ganehs0tsava and was taken for visarjanam at 4.00 pm. Large number of devotees had darshan of Ganapathy daily during the Ganeshotsava.
