Special Puja and Alankara to Goddess Kalikamba at Sringeri

Special puja and Alankara was offered to Goddess Kalikamba on Makara-Shukravara viz. last Friday occuring in the Solar month of Makara, on February 8, 2013.

Special puja was offered to Goddess Kalikamba in the afternoon and the Goddess was decorated with “Valaya-Alankara” or Bangle Alankara along with other Mangala Dravyas viz. turmeric, vermillion etc.

Many devotees gathered at the shrine of Goddess Kalikamba to witness the special puja and unique Alankara.
