Sri Sharadamba Maharathotsava celebrated at Sringeri

Sharadamba Maharathotsava took place on 18th February 2014. The Utsava Murti of Goddess Sharada was taken along the main streets of Sringeri in a decorated Ratha. The Jagadguru led the procession amidst chants of the Vedas and bhajans. The Jagadguru performed a special Puja to Goddess Sharada the previous day. As part of the Celebrations, a Shatachandi Yaga was conducted in the premises of the Peetham. The Poornahuti of the Shatachandi Yaga took place on 19th February in the Jagadguru’s presence. Teppotsava of Goddess Sharada took place that evening.
