Mahakumbhabhishekam of Rajagopuram at Sringeri


 

The Maha-kumbhabhishekam of the 127 feet majestic Rajagopuram will be performed by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, on the 8th of June 2014. On this occasion, Laksha-modaka-ganapati homa as well as Atirudra and Sahasrachandika Maha-Yagas and Koti-kumkumarchana at the shrine of goddess Sharadamba will be performed. Cultural programmes featuring internationally acclaimed “Shastriya-Sangita” musicians have also been arranged in the evenings.

All devotees are welcome to take part in this once-in-a lifetime event and be the recipients of the blessings of the Jagadguru and Goddess Sharadamba.
