On 24-08-2014 Sunday morning the Administrator and CEO Dr. V.R. Gowrishankar came to the Gurunivas with his family and performed Padapuja in the divine presence of the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji and obtained the blessings of the Jagadguru for the successful conduct of the weeklong celebrations of his Shashtyabda Poorti.

Sri VR Gowrishankar and his family arranged for many Dharmic events, inclusive of homas, the Maharudra Yaga and Namasankeertanam. The events were conducted in the Jagadguru Sri Chandrashekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji Sabha Bhavanam and in the Yagashalas in the Math premises. The event concluded with a Mangalya Dharanam on the morning of 29-08-2014. In the evening, Sevakas of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham assembled for an impromptu meeting to felicitate the Administrator on the special occasion.
