Jayanti and Aradhana of 33rd Acharya


 

The Jayanti and Aradhana of the 33rd Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Narasimha Bharati Mahaswamiji was observed at Sringeri on April 3 and April 9 2016.

On the Jayanti day, a Sabha was organized at the Adhishtanam of the Acharya. Scholars and students of Sri Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala recounted the life of the Acharya. Vidhan Krishnaraja Bhat of the Pathashala presided over the Sabha and gave a Sanskrit speech recounting the life of the Acharya. Vidyarthis also spoke about various anecdotes related to the Acharya and remembered how the Acharya had graced Shishyas. After Shatarudra Abhisheka, Mahamangalarati took place in the presence of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam. At night, after the Chandramoulishwara Puja was performed by Sri Mahasannidhanam at Guru Nivas, Sri Sannidhanam offered a special Puja at the Adhishtanam of His Paraapara Guru. Sri Mahasannidhanam had Darshan of the Aarati.

On April 9 2016, commemorating the 104th Aradhana of Jagadguru Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Narasimha Bharati Mahaswamiji, a special Aradhana Puja was performed by Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam. Sri Sannidhanam had Darshan of the Mahamangalaarati. Sri Mahasannidhanam also offered a special worship at the Adhishtanam of His Parameshti Guru in the night after the Chandramoulishwara Puja was performed by Sri Sannidhanam. Sri Sannidhanam was also present for this Puja.
