Sri Sannidhanam at Sri Rama Devasthana in Vidyaranyapura

Sri Sannidhanam worships at the Sri Rama Devasthana in Vidyaranyapura

On February 24, Sri Sannidhanam graced the Vidyaranyapura Agrahara in Sringeri and performed Puja at the Sri Rama temple and offered a Silver Prabhavali. In His Anugraha Bhashanam blessing the devotees, Sri Sannidhanam said,

A beautiful prabhavali has been offered to Sri Rama on this day, puja has been offered at his sanctum and at His Lotus Feet prayers have been offered for the welfare of all people of this village. That Sri Rama will listen to and fructify this prayer is not a matter for doubt, because such is the nature of Sri Rama. Even when Vibheeshana, the brother of the sworn enemy Ravana, approached Sri Rama, he was offered refuge. Even as everyone else in Sri Rama’s camp suspected Vibheeshana’s real intention, Sri Rama declared that he would protect all who approached him for protection, no matter who the person was. “Why Vibheeshana, even if Ravana himself approached me, I would still offer him refuge!

Through his life, Sri Rama shows us that everyone must follow their ordained duties and never compromise on it.

Sri Sannidhanam ended the Anugraha Bhashanam stating that His Parapara Guru (33rd Acharya of Sringeri)  had  consecrated and performed the Kumbhabhisheka of this temple. Since then all Jagadgurus have been coming and gracing this temple.

  • Just as in this body, the embodied one passes through boyhood, youth, and old age, so does one pass into another body. With reference to this (birth, aging and death), the wise man is not disturbed. Bhagavan Sri Krishna on Significance of God
  • An object continues to be dear as long as one derives pleasure from it and it is detested for the duration that it causes pain. The same object cannot be always liked or disliked. Sometimes, that which is not dear may become dear. Moreover, that which was loveable can turn unpleasant. The Atma, towards which affection never wanes, is always the most beloved. • It is pitiful that when many of us are asked, “who are you?”, The first thought that arises is “I am a Keralite”, or “I am a Punjabi”, etc. The thought that should immediately stem is “I am an Indian”. If people first feel that they are Indians and only then think of divisions, the nation will have great prosperity and the divisive forces will not be operative as they are today.
