Commencement of Sri Sharadamba Rathotsava in the presence of Sri Sannidhanam

Sharadamba Maharathotsava took place today on February 19, 2022. The Utsava Murti of Goddess Sharadamba was taken along the main streets of Sringeri in a decorated Ratha. Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam led the procession amidst chants of the Vedas and bhajans.

The previous day, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed a special Puja to Goddess Sharadamba.

As part of the Celebrations, a Shatachandi Yaga is being conducted near the Sharadamba temple. The Poornahuti of the Shatachandi Yaga will take place in the divine presence of Sri Sannidhanam on February 20, 2022.
