Amrita Mahotsava of Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala

One hundred and twenty years ago, in 1895, corresponding to the “Manmatha” year in the traditional Indian Almanac, the 33rd Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham at Sringeri, Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Narasimha Bharati Mahaswamiji founded the Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala to foster and promote Vedic education. Since then, the Pathashala has been playing a vital role in preserving the hoary Vedic wisdom by producing many Vedic aswell as Sastric scholars year after year

With the blessings of the presiding Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, several Dharmic as well as cultural programmes have been organized to celebrate the Amrita Mahotsava (120th Anniversary) of the Pathashala from the 24th to the 26th of January 2015.

We request all to participate in these activities and be the recipient of grace of Goddess Sri Sharadamba and the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji.
