A special programme entitled “Sringeri Darshan” will be telecast on DD Podhikai today, the 14th of February 2015 at 9:00 PM.

The programme will showcase the interaction of the winners of Punitha Bharatam quiz competetion in a special session with The Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji at Sringeri. The programme will also contain speeches by eminent personalities.

Punitha Bharatam was a quiz competetion organized by Sri Vidyatirtha Foundation, Chennai for high-school children in Tamil Nadu. Nearly 150 schools participated in this unique quiz competition which was organized to spread awareness of Indian culture and Vedic wisdom amongst members of the younger generation.
