Ardra Darshanam at Sringeri Shankara Math, West Mambalam December 20, 2010

With the blessings of Acharyal, Ardra Darshanam (Arudra Darshanam) will be celebrated at the Math premises on the morning of 22.12.2010 at 5 A.M with special abhisheka to Lord Sri Nataraja’s idol amidst vedic chanting by Pathashala vidyarthees and devotees, alankara, archana and procession. This will be followed by regular Dhanur Masa Puja and distribution of prasada.

Devotees are welcome to attend the function and become the recipients of the Grace of Lord Nataraja.

Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations at West Mambalam Sringeri Shankara Math December 20, 2010

Vaikuntha Ekadashi was celebrated in a grand style on the 17th of this month with abhisheka and special puja at the sanctum sanctorum of the Lord Navaneethakrishna in the morning, after the dhanur-masa puja. In the evening, the utsava-murthi adorned in garuda vahana was taken in procession through the Svarga Dwara followed by Special Puja and Managalarathi.

Daily Dhanur-masa-puja is being performed during the month of Margazhi (16.12.2010 up to 14.01.2011) at the shrines of Sri Ratnagarbhaganapathy, Sri Saradamabal and Sri Navaneethakrishna in the Branch Math at West Mambalam at 5.30 A.M in the mornings. Maha Mangalarathi is at 6.15 Am followed by distribution of prasada.
