दक्षिणाम्नाय-श्री-शृङ्गेरी-शारदापीठाधीश्वर-

‘वृद्ध’-नृसिंहभारती-महास्वामिभिः ‘मैसूरुचामुण्डी’-ति विख्याते “महिशूरपुर”-क्षेत्रे विरचितम्

dakṣiṇāmnāya-śrī-śṛṅgerī-śāradāpīṭhādhīśvara-
jagadguru-śaṅkarācārya-śrī-śrī-śrī-
‘vṛddha’-nṛsiṃhabhāratī-mahāsvāmibhiḥ ‘maisūrucāmuṇḍī’-ti vikhyāte “mahiśūrapura”-kṣetre viracitam

विशालकरुणं विभुं तरुणचन्द्र-सद्भूषणं
धराधरसुतापतिं तरुणचन्द्रकोटिप्रभम् ।
मनोरथविवर्धनं दुरितवर्गविध्वंसनं
महाबलशिवं भजे महितसर्वकल्याणदम् ॥१॥

viśālakaruṇaṃ vibhuṃ taruṇacandra-sadbhūṣaṇaṃ
dharādharasutāpatiṃ taruṇacandrakoṭiprabham ;
manorathavivardhanaṃ duritavargavidhvaṃsanaṃ
mahābalaśivaṃ bhaje mahitasarvakalyāṇadam .1.

समाहितमनोनुतं शमितदैत्यदम्भं प्रभुं
भवार्णवविशोषणं विहितभक्तसन्तोषणम् ।
चराचरसुमन्दिरं विधृतबालचन्द्रं शिवं
नमामि गिरिजापतिं नलिननेत्रमित्रं परम् ॥२॥

samāhitamanonutaṃ śamitadaityadambhaṃ prabhuṃ
bhavārṇavaviśoṣaṇaṃ vihitabhaktasantoṣaṇam ;
carācarasumandiraṃ vidhṛtabālacandraṃ śivaṃ
namāmi girijāpatiṃ nalinanetramitraṃ param .2.

पराभवविवर्जितं जय जयेति देवैर्नुतं
नमामि जगतां गुरुं जननमृत्युदूरं हरम् ।
जनार्दनसहोदरीनयनपद्मभानूपमं
पुराणपुरुषार्चितं शरणलोकसंरक्षकम् ॥३॥

parābhavavivarjitaṃ jaya jayeti devairnutaṃ
namāmi jagatāṃ guruṃ jananamṛtyudūraṃ haram ;
janārdanasahodarīnayanapadmabhānūpamaṃ
purāṇapuruṣārcitaṃ śaraṇalokasaṃrakṣakam .3.

दुराचरणभीषणं दुरितवर्गसंहारिणं
महागिरिवराश्रयं मुनिवरेण्यसंसेवितम् ।
हिरण्यनिधिदायकं करुणयैव संरक्षकं
कलाधरसुशेखरं नमत नित्यकल्याणदम् ॥४॥

durācaraṇabhīṣaṇaṃ duritavargasaṃhāriṇaṃ
mahāgirivarāśrayaṃ munivareṇyasaṃsevitam ;
hiraṇyanidhidāyakaṃ karuṇayaiva saṃrakṣakaṃ
kalādharasuśekharaṃ namata nityakalyāṇadam .4.

महागदविदारणं मदनगर्वविश्लोषणं
भवं त्रिपुरघातिनं ह्यनलनेत्रमिन्द्रार्चितम् ।
गिरीन्द्रतनयासखं सकलसौख्यसन्दायकं
महाबलमुपास्महे निगमगम्यरूपं शिवम् ॥५॥

mahāgadavidāraṇaṃ madanagarvaviśloṣaṇaṃ
bhavaṃ tripuraghātinaṃ hyanalanetramindrārcitam ;
girīndratanayāsakhaṃ sakalasaukhyasandāyakaṃ
mahābalamupāsmahe nigamagamyarūpaṃ śivam .5.

शिलीन्द्रकुसुमप्रियं वरशिरीषमाल्यान्वितं
सुबिल्वदलपूजितं वनजदिव्यपुष्पप्रियम् ।
विरिञ्चिहरिसन्नुतं भजत पञ्चवक्त्रं प्रभुं
प्रपञ्च परिपालकं वरचिरन्तनाभ्यर्चितम् ॥६॥

śilīndrakusumapriyaṃ varaśirīṣamālyānvitaṃ
subilvadalapūjitaṃ vanajadivyapuṣpapriyam ;
viriñciharisannutaṃ bhajata pañcavaktraṃ prabhuṃ
prapañca paripālakaṃ varacirantanābhyarcitam .6.

चिरन्तरवचोनुतं ह्यघचयस्य विध्वंसकं
ममाशु कविताप्रदं करिमुखस्य तातं विभुम् ।
कवीन्द्र परिसन्नुतं नमत नीलकण्ठं वरं
वरप्रदमहाबलं सुगुणकृष्णभूपावनम् ॥७॥

cirantaravaconutaṃ hyaghacayasya vidhvaṃsakaṃ
mamāśu kavitāpradaṃ karimukhasya tātaṃ vibhum ;
kavīndra parisannutaṃ namata nīlakaṇṭhaṃ varaṃ
varapradamahābalaṃ suguṇakṛṣṇabhūpāvanam .7.

मनोरथविदायकं मनुकुलेशसम्पूजितं
ह्युमार्धसुकलेबरं विधृतदिव्यगङ्गापगम् ।
वृषेन्द्रवरवाहनं सुरवरेन्द्र सन्तोषणं
जगद्भरणमीश्वरं तरुणचन्द्रमौलिं भजे ॥८॥

manorathavidāyakaṃ manukuleśasampūjitaṃ
hyumārdhasukalebaraṃ vidhṛtadivyagaṅgāpagam ;
vṛṣendravaravāhanaṃ suravarendra santoṣaṇaṃ
jagadbharaṇamīśvaraṃ taruṇacandramauliṃ bhaje .8.

महाबलनुतिं जना वचसि धारयन्त्यन्वहं
नृकेसरिगिरेरितां सकलसौख्यसम्पत्प्रदाम् ।
सुसन्ततिविधायिनीं शुभकदम्ब संवर्धिनीं
भजन्ति शुभमेव ते शिवपदाब्जभक्ता भुवि ॥९॥

mahābalanutiṃ janā vacasi dhārayantyanvahaṃ
nṛkesarigireritāṃ sakalasaukhyasampatpradām ;
susantatividhāyinīṃ śubhakadamba saṃvardhinīṃ
bhajanti śubhameva te śivapadābjabhaktā bhuvi .9.

इति श्री-महाबलेशाश्टकं सम्पूर्णम्
