Kumbhabhisheka at Prachina Shankara Math

The Prachina Sringeri Shankara Math is the oldest branch of the Peetham in Bangalore, located at Kashi Vishweshwara temple Street, Sultanpet. The 32nd Jagadguru Sri Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamigal had visited the Math in 1874. Now, a Vimana Gopuram over the Sanctum Sanctorum and a welcome arch have been built with the Jagadguru’s Blessings. On 29th April 2007, the Jagadguru went to the Math and performed the Puja to Mahaganapati, Lord Chandramoulishwara and Goddess Bhavani followed by the Kumbhabhisheka.
