In connection with the Centenary Celebrations at the Bangalore Math, Ati Rudra Mahayaga had commenced on 23rd April. During the Yaga, Mahanyasa followed by Rudra Abhisheka was performed in the mornings while in the evenings, Rudra krama archana, Trishati Archana, Mahamangalaratri and Ashtavadhana Seva took place. A total of 140 Ritwiks conducted the Mahayaga over a period of 11 days from 23rd April to 3rd May. The Poornahuti took place on the 3rd in the presence of the Jagadguru. Former Prime Minster, Sri H D Deve Gowda was also present.

  • It is pitiful that when many of us are asked, “who are you?”, The first thought that arises is “I am a Keralite”, or “I am a Punjabi”, etc. The thought that should immediately stem is “I am an Indian”. If people first feel that they are Indians and only then think of divisions, the nation will have great prosperity and the divisive forces will not be operative as they are today.
