The Jagadguru entered Maharashtra on 4th, July 2009,  by arriving at Kolhapur. On 5th, the Jagadguru performed Puja to Goddess Mahalakshmi at the famous temple in Kolhapur. He then visited the Karaveera Math where Sri Vidyanrisimha Bharati Swamiji reverentially welcomed the Jagadguru and performed Pada Puja. From Kolhapur the Jagadguru proceeded to Saangli where He worshipped Lord Siddhi Vinayak the next day, blessed the devotees and arrived at Narasimhavadi by the evening of July 6th. The Jagadguru then had Darshan at Sri Dattatreya temple. On the morning of 7th, the Jagadguru performed a Puja to the holy Padukas of Lord Dattatreya.
