Goddess Sharada Maharathotsava at Sringeri

The Maharathotsava of Goddess Sharada was celebrated on the 12th of February 2009. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji conducted the Rathotsava along the main street of Sringeri after being accorded a traditional invitation by the Mahajanas of Sringeri. The Jagadguru offered a special Puja to Goddess Sharada the previous day. As part of the Rathotsava Celebrations, a Shatachandi Mahayaga was also performed. The Poornahuti of the Mahayaga took place on 13th February in the Jagadguru’s divine presence.
