Tapasvi Kuteera at Sringeri inaugurated

Over the centuries, it has been the practice of many Mathadhipatis and Dandi Sannyasis to come to Sringeri for Darshan of Goddess Sharada and the Sringeri Jagadguru and seek guidance from the Jagadguru on various spiritual and religious matters.

As per the directions of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, a new Tapasvi Kuteera has been constructed for the comfortable stay of visiting Mathadhipatis and Sannyasis in a serene setting on the banks of the Tunga inside Narasimha Vanam at Sringeri. The Mahaswamiji inaugurated the Tapasvi Kuteera on 11th February 2010 and performed a special Chandramoulishwara Puja. CEO & Administrator, Sri V R Gowrishankar and Dr. Yegnasubramanian, Chairman, Sringeri Vidya Bharati Foundation, USA were present on the occasion.
