Rama-Navami celebrations at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math


 

With the benign blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, Rama-Navami was celebrated at Mumbai Shankara Math on 24th March 2010.

specially blessed by His Holiness, worshipped on Ramanavami day.

The function commenced in the morning with Guru-Vandanam.  Dharmapracharakar Sri A.S. Gopalakrishnan performed parayanam of important sargas from Srimad Valmiki Ramanayam and large number of deveotees also joined the parayanam.  Later purusha sookta abhishekam was performed to the vigrahas of sri seetha, lakshmana, hanumad sametha sri rmachandra moorthy blessed and given to the Branch math at Chembur, Mumbai by the Jagadguru Shankaracharya. A large number of devotees took part in the function.
