60th Year of the Jagadguru – celebrations at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math


 

To commemorate the 60th (Shastiabda poorthi) year of His Holiness The Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sharada Peetham Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, year long celebrations will commence at the Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math on the 19th April 2010 at 10.30 am with the Sahasra Maha Ganapati Homam.

It is planned to celebrate every month’s Mrigashirsha nakshatra day with religious, cultural and social functions. Further programmes will be announced shortly.

All are requested to participate in the Sahasra Maha Ganapati Homam and receive the blessings of the Jagadguru.
