Acceding to the request to visit the various important temples in and around Kalady, the Mahaswamiji started on a three day tour from Kalady on 9th May, 2010. The Mahaswamiji first visited the Koodalmanikyam Bharatan temple at Irinjalakuda enroute to the famous temple of Guruvayurapppan at Guruvayur. The Mahaswamiji arrived at Guruvayur in the evening and was accorded a traditional welcome by temple officials including the Administrator and Chairman of the Guruvayur Devaswom Board, and the Brahmana Samooham Acharya Sri Muthukutty Vadhyar. Sri Anjam Krishnan Namboodiri presented a garland of Tulasi.

The Mahaswamiji was escorted to the auditorium of the temple for a formal welcome to the temple town. The Mahaswamiji in His Anugraha Bhashanam delved on the importance of the Shri Krishna deity at the sacred temple of Guruvayur. The Mahaswamiji also indicated that the Lord Himself has described the qualities of a Bhakta in the Bhagavad Gita. A Bhakta should be humble, patient and compassionate. The Mahaswamiji also emphasized that, excepting the Lord, everything is ephemeral.
Later, the Mahaswamiji conferred the title of “Vaidika Praveena” on the elderly Vedic scholar Brahmasri Muthukutty Vadhyar.
The Mahaswamiji arrived at Guruvayur temple early next morning and received with Poornakumbham at the entrance. The Mahaswamiji witnessed the Sheeveli of Lord Guruvayurappan. Then the Mahaswamiji had Darshan of the Lord and offered silk vastram and golden necklace to the deity. Special Prasada was offered to the Mahaswamiji in the sanctum sanctorum.
The Mahaswamiji then went to the auditorium to release the reprint of “Srimad Bhagavatam”. In His Anugraha Bhashanam, the Mahaswamiji spoke about the greatness of Bhagavatam.

The Mahaswamiji visited Sri Parthasarathy Temple and Sri Venkatachalapathy Temple. The Mahaswamiji then went to the Mammiyoor temple, had Darshan of Lord Mahadeva and inaugurated a Sabha Mandapam. The Mahaswamiji also graced the Guruvayur Devaswom “Aana kottam” (elephant stable) where the temple’s elephants are maintained. The Mahaswamiji gave fruits to all the sixty pachyderms inquiring individually about their names, ages and health. The Mahaswamiji started from Guruvayur towards Shoranur in the afternoon.
