Jagadguru graces the Peetham’s educational Institutions at Kalady


 


The Jagadguru at Sri Adi Shankaracharya Institute of Engineering Technology

The Jagadguru Mahaswamiji graced Sri Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering Technology on 27th May. Visiting for the first time since the Institute was started, the Mahaswamiji inaugurated an Entrance Arch and planted an Ashwatta sapling in the campus.

On 3rd June, the Mahaswamiji visited Sree Sarada Vidyalaya , a CBSE School and inaugurated a new building with 21 rooms and a social school. The Mahaswamiji went round the school and witnessed the activities of the children and blessed them. Then the Mahaswamiji visited Sree Sankara Training College and blessed the staff and students. Later the Mahaswamiji visited Sree Sankara College, the oldest of the educational institutions, with 1800 students and about 75 staff. The Mahaswamiji inaugurated the Microbiology Research Centre and also declared open rain water Harvest System. In the evening there was a public function arranged by Sankara Educational Institutions, in which Sri. S. Sharma, Kerala State Minister, Jose Thettayil, Kerala State Minister and K.P. Dhanapalan, M.P., addressed the gathering. Dr. B.S. Krishnan, Managing Trustee of Sri Sankara Trust, welcomed the audience comprising of staff and students from all the Institutions.The educative Anugraha Bhashanam of the Mahaswamiji thrilled the students who felt greatly benefited. The function concluded with a Samarpanam on behalf of all institutions being placed at the Lotus Feet of the Mahaswamiji by Dr. B.S. Krishnan, Managing Trustee, Adi Sankara Trust.
