Sri Ganesh Chaturthi at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math


 

Sri Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math from 11th Sept. 2010 to 15th September 2010. On 11th September 2010, beginning at 8.30 AM Shata Vaara  Atharva Sheersha Abhishekam will be performed to the presiding Maha Ganapathi at the temple. A colourful Maha Ganapathi idol made of clay will be installed in the silver mandapam on the same day and puja will be offered to this idol also.  There will be Music sevas in the evenings for four days.  On the 5th day i.e. 15th Sept.ember 2010, around 4.00 pm the Maha Ganapathi idol made of clay will be taken out in a grand procession for immersion.

N.B. This is the announcement of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math. The Jagadguru will be observing Sri Vara Siddhi Vinayaka Vrata and conduct the Sri Ganapati Vakyartha Vidwat Sadas at Narasimhavanam in Sringeri.
