Deepavali Celebrations


 

On the occasion of Deepavali (November 5th), Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji blessed all Astikas with a message that as lamps are lighted all around, everyone must remember the teachings of Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya and strive to move along the path of Dharma leading to the light of knowledge. The Jagadguru also invoked the the blessings of His revered Guru, Jagadguru Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji whose Jayanti fell on the auspicious day. On 6th November, Bali Padya was celebrated. Go Pooja was performed by the Jagadguru in the morning in Narasimha Vanam. Balindra Pooja was performed in the evening at Goddess Sharada temple.
