Frame of Mahadwaram’s Rajagopuram installed


 

Work on the Rajagopuram at the main entrance of the Peetham began in February 2008. The foundation for the massive Rajagopuram was completed in December 2008. On November 12th 2010, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed a special Puja on the occasion of the installation of frame of the Mahadwaram of the Rajagopuram. Administrator & CEO Sri V R Gowrishankar, and Sri Shankar Sthapati were present and received the blessings of the Mahaswamiji to execute the successful completion of the Rajagopuram. The Rajagopuram would stand 127 feet tall and welcome devotees to the throne of transcendental wisdom, the Sharada Peetham, the abode of Goddess Sharada and the Jagadguru Shankaracharya at Sringeri.
