Makara Sankranti celebrations at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math

On Saturday, the 15th January 2011, Makara Sankranti was celebrated at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai by performing special Surya Namaskaram. Lord Surya Narayana Bhagavan was invoked in a Kalasa and Aruna Prasnam parayanam was rendered by students of Sri Abhinava Vidyatheertha Veda Samskruta Patashala and general public.  Some photos taken on the occasion are exhibited in the gallery below.
