Dhanurmasa Puja – December 17 2011 to January 14 2012

Special Dhanur Masa Pooja will be performed in the early morning and Mahamangala aarathi will be around 7.00 am during Dhanurmasa. The temple will open at 5 am and close at 10.30 am instead of usual 11.00 am during this period.

Hanumat Jayanti – December 24 2011, 7 PM.

On Hanumat Jayanti, on December 24 2011, Purushasukta abhishekam will be performed to the murti of Lord Hanuman. There will be mass chanting of Hanuman Chalisa and Vishnu Sahasranamam by large number of devotees. Mahamangalaaarati will be performed at around 8:00 PM.

Ardra Darshanam (Aarudra Darshanam / Ardrotsavam) – January 8, 2012

During Dhanur Masa, Aardra Darsanam will take place on 8th January 2012. Special abhisheka/pooja will be performed on the Maragatha Lingam at 5.30 am onwards. Mahamangala Aaarthi will take place around 7 am.

Makara Sankranti – January 14 2012

On 14th Janaury 2012 on the day of Makhara Shankaranthi, special Surya Namaskaram will be performed at 6.00 am. Lord Surya Narayana swamy will be invoked in a silver Kalasha and parayanam of Aruna Prasnam will be rendered by Vidyartis of Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Veda Samskrita Pathashala and other devotees. Mahamanagala aarathi will be around 8 am.

Lalita Panchami – January 28 2012

On 28th Janaury 2012 Lalitha Panchami will be celebrated by performing Lalita Homam. The Homam will commence around 10.30 am and Mahamangala aarathi will be around 12.30pm.

Deepa Puja by Suvasinis – February 10 2012

As usual Deepa Pooja by Suvanis will be performed on 10th February 2012 (Thai maasa Friday). Almost 100 suvasinis will perform Lalitha Sahasranama Pooja on the deepas. The pooja will commence around 5 pm and Mahamangala Aarathi will take place around 7 pm.

Bhagavati Seva – February 12 2012

During Thai Maasa, Bhagavathi Seva will be performed on Sunday, the 12th February 2012. The pooja will commence around 6 pm and Mahamangala aarathi will be around 9pm.

All the devotees are requested to participate in the above poojas and receive the Blessings of all the devatas and also our Acharyal.
