Ganeshotsava 2012 at Mumbai Sringeri Math


 

With the Benign Blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Dakshinamnaya Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham, Ganeshotsava will be celebrated in Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai from Wednesday, September 19 2012 to Sunday, September 23 2012 (for 5 days).

On Ganesh Chaturti day, Special Maha Ganapathi Homam will be held around 8 am and thereafter 108 aavarti Ganesha-Atharvashirsha Abhishekam will be performed for the main and Utsava moorthis.  In the evening carnatic music and bhajans will be held at 6.00 PM.

For the first time in the history of Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, 1008 Modaka Maha Ganapathi Homam will be performed on Friday, 21st September 2012.

All are requested to participate in the Ganeshotsava and receive the blessings of Sri Maha Ganapati and Jagadguru.
