Foundation stone for Sri Adi Shankaracharya Hill

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji laid the foundation stone for a 32-foot Adi Shankaracharya statue in Sringeri on 3rd June 2013. CEO & Administrator, Sri V R Gowrishankar, Sri Sundaram and Shalini Jagan of Sundaram Architects, Sri Shankara Sthapati and Smt. Anasuya of Bangalore were present on the occasion. The huge statue is coming up at a hillock named Adi Shankaracharya Hill about 2 km from the Goddess Sharada temple, and is expected to be completed by June 2015.
