On the evening of 23rd March 2014, the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji reached Gangavati of Koppal District and was given a devotional welcome by the devotees. In the Sabha conducted immediately after the procession, a Swagata Patrika was offered to the Jagadguru by former MP Sri H R G Ramulu. The Jagadguru blessed one and all with the Anugraha Bhashanam and performed Sri Chandramoulishwara Puja for the welfare of the Mankind. In the Anugraha Bhashanam, the Mahaswamiji mentioned that Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya has not done Upadesha for one group or one community but for the entire mankind. That is why He is referred to as a Jagadguru. The Mahaswamiji also mentioned that the Sringeri Shankara Math at Gangavati, for which the bhoomi Puja was to take place the following day, will do immense good for the people of Gangavati and called for all the residents to involve themselves in this activity. Then the Jagadguru blessed Sri H R G Ramulu for his help in the Sringeri Shankara Math construction. On the morning of 24th, the Jagadguru visited several temples in Gangavati including those of Prasanna Pampa Virupaksheshwara, Ramachandra Swami and Nagareshwara Swami. Then the Jagadguru laid the foundation stone and did Bhumi Puja for the newly planned Sringeri Shankara Math branch at Gangavati. The Jagadguru blessed all with an Ashirvachanam. Then after giving Darshan to the devotees and blessing them with Phala Mantrakshata and Tirtha Prasada, the Jagadguru left for Koppal.
