Upon the earnest request of Sri Shivananda Tirtha Swamiji of Kevalashrama, the present Sringeri Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed the Kumbhabhisheka at the temple. The Jagadguru consecrated Sri Sharadamba and Sri Adi Shankaracharya in separate Sannidhis that were newly constructed. The Jagadguru also performed PunaH Pratishtha Kumbhabhisheka of Lord Dattatreya.
