Kumbhabhisheka:

The Kumbhabhisheka at Kevalashrama temple in Shikaripura (of Shimoga district) took place on the morning of 28th March 2014. The Kumbhabhisheka and Prathishtha of the temple was performed in the year 1969 by the then Sringeri Jagadguru, Srimad Abhinava Vidyatirha Mahaswamiji. Upon the earnest request of Sri Shivananda Tirtha Swamiji of Kevalashrama, the present Sringeri Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed the Kumbhabhisheka at the temple. The Jagadguru consecrated Sri Sharadamba and Sri Adi Shankaracharya in separate Sannidhis that were newly constructed. The Jagadguru also performed PunaH Pratishtha Kumbhabhisheka of Lord Dattatreya.
