After the Mahakumbhabhisheka of the magnificent Rajagopuram at Sringeri, many Ministers came to Sringeri to offer prayers to Goddess Sharadamba and to have Darshan of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji.

On June 10 2014, the Home minister of Karnataka Sri K.J.George with his wife Smt.Suja George had the Darshan of the Jagadguru and received the blessings.

On June 16, the Railway minister of India, Sri Sadananda Gowda visited Sringeri with his family, and had Darshan of the Jagadguru and received the blessings.

On July 5, the Karnataka State Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Sri Kimmane Ratnakar performed Pada Puja and then received the blessings of the Jagadguru.

On July 6, Sri DK Shiva Kumar, Minister for Energy, Government of Karnataka had Darshan of the Jagadguru. He also went to Rishyashringa temple at Kigga and prayed to the Lord for the rain.
