All the Sevakas of Sringeri Sharada Peetham who were involved in the preparation and conduct of the Uttaradhikari Shishya Sweekara function assembled at Gurunivas in Narasimhavanam on the morning of January 30, 2015 to have Darshan of Mahasannidhanam, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji and Sannidhanam, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji and offered Samashti Bhikshavandanam. They prostrated to Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam by chanting the following Birudavali and Shlokas. Talking on the occasion, CEO and Administrator Sri V R Gowrishankar expressed his gratitude to all Sevakas for their service during the event. All of them then received the Prasada and felt blessed with the life-time opportunity to serve the Jagadguru during this historic occasion.

While Ganga is the Tirtha (place of pilgrimage) for the ignorant and knowledge is the Tirtha for the wise, I take refuge in Jagadguru Sri Bharati Tirtha, who is the bliss-giving Tirtha for all.

वन्दे वेदान्ततत्त्वज्ञं विधुशेखरभारतीम् ॥

I offer my prostrations to Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati, who is endowed with knowledge and humility, who is free of desires, who is endowed with discrimination (of the real and unreal), and who is a knower of the Vedanta Tattva.

  • To that which is born, death is indeed certain; and to that which is dead, birth is certain. Therefore, knowing this, you ought not to grieve over (this) inevitable. Bhagavan Sri Krishna on Significance of God
  • Daylight and darkness, dusk and dawn, winter and springtime come and go. Time plays and life ebbs away. But the current of desire never leaves. Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada on Mohamudgara
  • Once you begin to feel the presence of God, a joy unknown to you ever before will begin to be felt. The thought of his ever- living presence with you will be a great solace to you. Jagadguru Sri Chandrashekhara Bharati Mahaswamigal on Significance of God
  • Tendencies develop, regardless of the characteristic of the action performed. Hence, he who wishes to lead a proper life will do well to avoid evil deeds and to repeatedly perform virtuous deeds. Jagadguru Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamigal on Significance of God
  • To err is human. Accepting one’s error and correcting oneself is a mark of nobility. Humility is the primary path to achieving nobility. Jagadguru Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamigal on Significance of God's Names
