The 684th Aradhana of the 10th Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Sri Vidyatirtha

Mahaswamiji was observed reverentially on October 27, 2017. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed the Aradhana Pooja at noon in the sanctum sanctorum of the magnificent Sri Vidyashankara temple built over the Samadhi location of the 10th Acharya. Sri Sannidhanam also offered obeisance at the temple.

The following day (October 28), Sri Vidyashankara Rathotsava carrying the Utsava Moorti of the deity took place. Sri Sannidhanam led the Rathotsava through the main Bharathi street of Sringeri. As part of the Celebrations, a Maharudra was conducted on the occasion over a 4-day period from October 26 to October 29, 2017. The Poornahuti of the Maharudra took place in the divine presence of the Ubhaya Jagadgurus at noon on October 29. The Vidyashankara Teppotsava took place on October 29 in the divine presence of Sri Sannidhanam.
