Kalabhairavashtami 2018

On December 29, 2018, Kalabhairavashtami was observed at Sringeri with Lord Kalabhairava being worshipped by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Sri Mahasannidhanam. Sri Mahasannidhanam performed Abhisheka to Lord Kalabhairava accompanied to the sonorous chanting of Sri Rudra and other mantras by the Panditas of the Math as well as students of the Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala. Later in the evening, Deepotsava was celebrated at the shrine in the august presence of Sri Mahasannidhanam. The entire temple complex was beautifully lit and the event concluded with Mahamangalarati and Ashtavadhana Seva
