In the divine presence of Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam, members of the Gita Govinda Satsanga of Vidyaranyapura in Bengaluru staged a Sanskrit play in Guru Nivas on the life of the great Vedantin, Sri Appayya Dikshita in the afternoon of July 21, 2019. Many of Sri Dikshita’s devotional works such as the Margabandhu Stotram, Atmarpana Stuti and verses from the 13th chapter of Srimad Bhagavad Gita were recited by groups of children belonging to various age groups. In His Anugraha Bhashanam, Sri Sannidhanam spoke about the greatness of Sri Appayya Dikshita and expressed joy that the programme was conducted in commemoration of the 500th anniversary year of Sri Appayya Dikshita’s birth. Speaking on the profound scholarship of Sri Dikshita who has penned great Vedantic works such as Nyaya Rakshamani and Parimala, Sri Sannidhanam said that a person can be truly deemed to be a scholar only if he is able to understand the works of Sri Dikshita –

अप्पय्यदीक्षितेन्द्रान्नशेषविद्यागुरून्नमस्यामः ।
यत्कृतिबोधाबोधौ विद्वदविद्वद्विभाजकोपाधी ॥

Sri Sannidhanam blessed Smt. Anantalakshmi Natarajan of the Gita Govinda Satsanga for inspiring the children and youth
