Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra Kritis rendered

On the afternoon of July 25, 2019, kritis composed by the renowned Jivanmukta, Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra were rendered in the divine presence of Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam by a group of devotees led by musicians. Sri Sannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam stated that our Shastras instruct that we should not exert our organ of speech in uttering words beyond what is necessary – नानुध्यायात् बहून् शब्दान् वाचो विग्लापनं हि तत्. What then qualifies as necessary speech? Those that give us benefit in this world as well as in the next. Of these, uttering the Names of the Lord and talking or singing His glories are very beneficient. Sri Sannidhanam expressed joy that the Kritis of Sadashiva Brahmendra that are filled with Vedantic tenets had been sung. Sri Brahmendra is an exemplar of a Brahma Jnani as described by Bhagavan in the Srimad Bhagavad Gita. Sri Sannidhanam added that His Paraapara Guru, Jagadguru Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamiji (the 33rd Acharya of Sringeri) has described the greatness of Sri Brahmendra by composing hymns. Sringeri Math CEO honoured the musicians who sang the kritis.
