Ananta Padmanabha Vrata


 

On the occasion of Ananta Padmanabha Vrata on Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturdashi, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed special Puja to Lord Sri Ananta Padmanabha Swami at Gurunivas at noon in accordance of the hoary traditions followed at the Sri Math.

Followed by the sonorous chanting of Vedic passages, the Jagadguru performed Phala Panchamruta Abhisheka, and other Upacharas prescribed in the Kalpa; followed by Nama-Archana. The puja concluded with the Maha-Mangalaratrika in the afternoon.
