The previous Kumbhabhisheka had been performed by Sri Mahasannidhanam in 1975. The temple was recently renovated under the Sringeri Math’s village adoption scheme set up in 1999 during the silver jubilee of Sannyasa Sweekara of Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam. Sri Sannidhanam also inaugurated a Dharmika Bhavanam at Rudrapaada.
