On April 26, Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam graced the 30th Varshikotsava of the Rajiv Gandhi Campus (in Sringeri) of the Central Sanskrit University. Dignitaries & faculty led by Director of the Campus, Prof. Ch. Narasimha Murti and University representative from New Delhi, Prof. Ramakant Pandey reverentially welcomed the Jagadguru with Poornakumbha. Rajamata Pramoda Devi Wodeyar of the Mysore royal family, who was the chief guest at the event, paid her respects to Sri Sannidhanam and addressed the students. Gold medals were awarded to successful candidates in the University examinations. In His Sanskrit Anugraha Bhashanam, Sri Sannidhanam spoke about the need to sincerely study the Shastras, respect the Guru-Shishya tradition and conveyed his blessings for all the assembled.
