Kumbhabhisheka at Surabharati Samskrita Samskriti Pratishthana


On June 17, 2022 Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji performed Pratishtha Kumbhabhisheka of Sri Sharadamba in the premises of Sri Surabharathi Sanskrit and cultural foundation in HRBR Layout, Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru.

Arriving at the premises of the foundation the previous evening, Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam performed Sri Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja at the foundation’s Kalyana Mandapa and performed Ratna nyasa in the sanctum sanctorums of the Goddess Sharadamba and other devatas.

On June 17, the Jagadguru performed elaborate Puja to the deities including Phala Panchamrita Abhisheka to Sri Ganapati, Sri Subrahmanya, Sri Sharadamba, Sri Venkateshwara Swami and Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya and performed Kumbhabhisheka. Then the Jagadguru performed Kumbhabhisheka to the Kalashas installed in the Vimana Gopura.

The foundation in HRBR Layout was founded by Sri K L Shrinivas with the benign blessings of Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji of Sringeri Sharada Peetham. The foundation has been working with objectives such as propagating Veda, Shastra, Music, Dance & Drama. Karnataka state Home Minister Sri Araga Jnanendra Kumar, CEO & Administrator of Sringeri Math Dr. V R Gowrishankar and other dignitaries were present.

In the evening Guruvandana Sabha, Vedic and Shastric scholars were honoured by the foundation. Important people & donors involved in building the temple were also felicitated. Talking on the occasion, Sri K L Shrinivas explained the challenges he had faced in building the temple and how the blessings of Sringeri Jagadguru played a vital role in every stage. Sringeri Math CEO, Dr. V R Gowrishankar spoke and praised the efforts of the foundation.

Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam then blessed the assembled devotees with an elaborate Anugraha Bhashanam explaining the significance of Dharma. He also pointed out how Dharma when observed gets protected and then elaborated on the importance of Sanskrit language. Sri Sannidhanam commended the efforts of Surabharati Samskrita Samskriti Pratishthana, specially blesssed Sri K L Shrinivas and ended the Anugraha Bhashanam showered his blessings on all the assembled devotees.
