The 688th Aradhana of the 10th Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Sri Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji was observed reverentially on October 31, 2022. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed the Aradhana Pooja at noon in the sanctum sanctorum of the magnificent Sri Vidyashankara temple built over the Jeeva Samadhi location of the 10th Acharya. Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam had Darshan at the shrine after completing the Kartika Somavara Puja.

The following day (November 1), Sri Vidyashankara Rathotsava carrying the Utsava Moorti of the deity took place. Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam arrived at the temple in the morning, had Darshan, witnessed the Mangalarati and & Sri Sannidhanam led the Rathotsava along the main streets of Sringeri.

A special program titled “Guru Traya Samsmaranam” was organised on the occasion of Sri Vidyashankara Rathotsava. This program was held for three days in the divine presence of Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam at Pravachana Mandiram in the auspices of the Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham. The 3-day program Guru Traya Samsmaranam took place every evening from 5 pm to 8 pm on October 30, 31 and November 1. The program featured special discourses from eminent people and Anugraha Bhashanam by Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam.
