Shrauta Maha Sammelanam at Sringeri


Shrauta Maha Sammelan is being conducted at the Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham from Phalguna-Shukla-Panchami (March 14, 2024) to Phalguna-Shukla-Saptami (March 16, 2024), as per the directive of the Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sri Sharada Peethadhishwara, Anantashri Vibhushita Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji and His successor-designate, Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji as a part of the Suvarna Bharati Mahotsava commemorating the 50th year of Sannyasa Sweekara of Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam.

Agnihotris and scholars in the Vedas, Shastras and Shrauta, from various parts of Bharat are participating in this grand event. On this occasion, Ishtis, Veda Bhashyartha Gosthi (discussions on the purport of the Veda Bhashyas) and discourses by scholars on aspects pertaining to Shrauta-karma are going on.
