Completion of Sri Mahaganapati Vakyartha Vidwat Sabha
The annual Mahaganapati Vakyartha Vidwat Sabha that commenced on September 7, 2024, drew to a conclusion today at around 8:00 PM.

The valedictory function commenced with Vaidika Mangalacharanam, Mangala Gitam, Following this, three books were released by Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam –
- Vidvat Pratibha being a compendium of the Vakyarthas presented by scholars at the Sabha conducted in the previous year,
- Taittiriyopanishad Bhashyam, the Taittiriyopanishad with the commentary of Bhagavatpada Adi Shankaracahrya.
- Taittiriyopanishad Bhashyam with “Vanamala” commentary.
Then, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam delivered a Benedictory speech in Sanskrit, highlighting the importance of the Shastra(s) and the timeless Guru-Shishya tradition in preserving and propagating the tradition.
Following the benedictory speech of Sri Sri Sannidhanam, Maha-Mangala-Aratrika was performed to the Vigraha of the Sabha-Ganapati, the Vigraha which had been duly installed at the commencement of the Vakyartha Sabha and worshipped daily throughout the fortnight. This was followed by Ashtavadhana Seva, chanting of Mantras from the four Vedas by the Math Pandits and Vadya and Mauri seva by the Sri Math musicians.
Chanting of the Mahaganapati Pancharatna Stava and Sri Ganadhipa Pancharatna Stava by the Pandits of the Sri Math, followed the Ashtavadhana Seva. The stotras were composed by Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya and the 33rd Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Peetham, Sri Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Narasimha Bharati Mahaswamiji respectively.
The sabha concluded with the honouring of the scholars.
