To commemorate the 60th (Shastiabda poorthi) year of His Holiness The Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sharada Peetham Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, year long celebrations will commence at the Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math on the 19^th April 2010 at 10.30 am with the Sahasra Maha Ganapati Homam.

The 60th Vardhanti celebrations of His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji will be organized in Chennai, by Vidyatheertha Foundation at Tattvaloka buildings in Eldams road on 17th and 18th of April 2010. With the benging blessings of Acharyal Sri Sankara Jayanthi will be celebrated at Mumbai from 14th May 2010 to 18th May 2010. The 19th Prathista Day of the Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math will be celebrated on Wednesday, the 19th of May 2010 at the Chembur Math.
