Sahasra-Kamala-Archana to Lord Malahanikareshwara April 19, 2019

On April 19, 2019, (Chaitra Shukla Poornima), Sri Sannidhanam, after offering the initial Puja to Lord Stambha Ganapati, performed a special Puja to Lord Malahanikareshwara. As part of the Puja, Sri Sannidhanam performed Archana with a thousand lotus flowers to the chanting of Shiva Sahasranamavali in the divine presence of Sri Mahasannidhanam. Sri Sannidhanam also offered Puja at the Goddess Bhavani shrine.

Sri Sannidhanam at Kamalashile April 17, 2019

On April 17, 2019, Sri Sannidhanam graced the town of Kamalashile, where authorities of the Brahmi Durga Parameshwari temple received the Jagadguru with a Pornakumbha. Sri Sannidhanam inaugurated the silver Mahadwara of the temple and the newly constructed Annadana Bhavan in the temple premises. Later, Sri Sannidhanam blessed the gathering with an Anugraha Bhashanam in the Sabha organised by the temple authorities. In the afternoon, the Jagadguru performed a special Puja to Goddess Sri Brahmi Durga Parameshwari. As part of the Puja, a golden necklace and a silk saree were offered to the Goddess on behalf of the Sringeri Math by the Jagadguru.

Sri Rama Navami April 14, 2019

On April 13, 2019, as part of the Srirama Navami celebrations, the Ubhaya Jagadgurus had Darshan at the Lord Kodandarama temple. Rajata Kavacha Dhaaranam (with new silver kavacha) was offered to Sita Lakshmana Hanumat Sameta Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy and Mahamangalarati was performed in the divine presence of the Jagadgurus.

Sri Sannidhanam performed a special Puja to the Goddess Sri Kanyakumari and then went atop the Gopura of the Sanctum Sanctorum and performed the Kumbhabhisheka.

69th Vardhanti of Jagadguru Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam April 11, 2019

The 69th Vardhanti of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam was celebrated at Sringeri in a glorious manner. The Mahotsava included special Pujas and Yagas performed for the welfare of humanity, cultural offering by eminent musicians and a reverential Guru Vandana by devotees in honour of Sri Mahasannidhanam.

Jayanti and Aradhana of the 33rd Acharya April 7, 2019

On the Jayanti day (Phalguna Krishna Ekadashi), a Sabha was organized at the Adhishtanam of the Acharya. Scholars and students of Sri Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala recounted the life of the Acharya. Vidwan Sri Krishnaraja Bhat of the Pathashala presided over the Sabha and gave a Sanskrit speech recounting the life of the Acharya. Vidyarthis also spoke about various anecdotes related to the Acharya and remembered how the Acharya had graced Shishyas. After Shatarudra Abhisheka, Mahamangalarati took place in the presence of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam. At night, after the Chandramoulishwara Puja, Sri Sannidhanam offered a special Puja at the Adhishtanam of His Parapara Guru. The Mahamangalarati took place in the divine presence of Sri Mahasannidhanam.

Yugadi 2019 April 6, 2019

On April 6, 2019, (Chaitra Shukla Pratipat), Chandramana Yugadi of the Vikari Samvatsara was observed with the performance of special Pujas at the temples inside the Math Premises. The Ubhaya Jagadgurus had Darshan at the temples. In the evening, Panchanga Pathanam was done in front of the Sannidhi of Goddess Sharadamba, in the divine presence of Sri Sannidhanam.

Sri Sannidhanam graces Makkikoppa March 25, 2019

On March 25, 2019, Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam graced Makkikoppa village near Jayapura and inaugurated a public function hall named, “Sri Guru Sharada Niketan”. Prior to the inauguration ceremony, Sri Sannidhanam had Darshan at the nearby Sri Choudeshwari Devi temple. Poornahuti of Ganapati Homa was also performed in the divine presence of the Jagadguru. Later, Sri Sannidhanam blessed the gathered devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam highlighting the importance of service to the needy and abstinence from committing sinful deeds.
