Swarna Mahotsava of Kannada Vaishya Samaja February 4, 2019

The golden jubilee celebrations of the observance of “Magha Shuddha Pratipade”, a community event of the Kannada Vaishya Samaja was held at Guru Nivas in Sringeri in the divine presence of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam on February 4, 2019.

Silver Kavacha Dharana during Uttarayana Punyakala January 15, 2019

On January 15, 2019, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam undertook the Uttarayana Punya Kala Snanam in the holy Tunga river and had Darshan of Goddess Sharadamba, Sri Vidyashankara and all the other deities in the Math premises. At the Vidyashankara temple, newly made Silver Kavachas were offered and adorned to the Murtis of Sri Vidya Ganapati and Goddess Durgamba in the presence of Sri Mahasannidhanam.

Rudra Homa at Kalabhairava temple January 3, 2019

A Rudra Homa was performed by the Adhyapakas and Vidyarthis of Sri Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala on January 3, 2019 near the Kalabhairava Swamy temple in Narasimha Vanam. The Poornahuti took place in the divine presence of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam.

On December 22, 2018, Andhakasura Vadha was performed near the Rajagopuram at around 10 pm in the divine presence of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Sri Mahasannidhanam after the Chandramoulishwara Puja.

Puja and Shatachandi at Kalikamba temple December 22, 2018

On December 21, 2017, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam offered a special Puja to Goddess Kalikamba, the guardian deity installed in the northern direction of Sringeri by Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya. Sri Mahasannidhanam blessed the Seva Kartas with Kumkuma Prasada.

Gita Jayanti observed December 18, 2018

On December 18, 2018 (Margashira Shuddha Ekadashi), commemorating Gita Jayanti, the day the teaching of Srimad Bhagavad Gita was bestowed upon Arjuna, a group chanting of Srimad Bhagavad Gita took place at the Pravachana Mandiram in Sringeri with the blessings of Sri Mahasannidhanam. The chanting was led by those who had participated in the Gita Jnana Yajna scheme of the Sringeri Math and can recite the entire Gita from memory. Vidwan Krishnaraja Bhat of the Sringeri Pathashala spoke abt the greatness of the Gita and the importance of bodily, verbal and mental Tapas as outlined in the Gita.

Abhinava Bharati Satsang at Sringeri December 13, 2018

Eye surgeon Dr A G Ramesh along with fellow doctors and members of the Abhinava Bharati Satsang, a spiritual wing of Abhinavas Eye Clinic at Adyar, Chennai had Darshan of Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam on December 12, 2018.
